Andy is a design and innovation leader who spent more than 16 years at IDEO, where he served as an Associate Partner, led the firm’s manufacturing group, founded and managed IDEO Shanghai, and served as Managing Director for Health.

Currently a Lecturer at Stanford University’s School of Engineering and d.school, he teaches product realization, materials, manufacturing, and scaling innovation.

He earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford and holds 20 patents, with an additional 17 patents pending.
